The LPGA USGA Girls Golf is a new expanded program
modeled after the LPGA Girls Golf Club, which was established
in 1991. The program was formed specifically to create a network
for girls to learn to play golf, build friendships, and sample
competition in a supportive and positive learning environment.
Its mission is to attract as many girls into the game of golf
as possible and in doing so, hope that participants will develop
a long-term interest and love for the game of golf.
Girls work with LPGA or PGA instructors to learn
the basics in rules, etiquette, full swing, short game, and
putting.
 |
The Program helps juniors develop
self esteem . |
 |
Provides opportunites and grants
responsibilities to girls. |
 |
Provides incentive
to continue and progress in the game. |
 |
Creates a network in which
girls feel comfortable in the golf environment. |
Because it is fun, girls learn to appreciate
and love a game they can enjoy throughout their lives
