The LPGA USGA Girls Golf is a new expanded program modeled after the LPGA Girls Golf Club, which was established in 1991. The program was formed specifically to create a network for girls to learn to play golf, build friendships, and sample competition in a supportive and positive learning environment. Its mission is to attract as many girls into the game of golf as possible and in doing so, hope that participants will develop a long-term interest and love for the game of golf.

Girls work with LPGA or PGA instructors to learn the basics in rules, etiquette, full swing, short game, and putting.

The Program helps juniors develop self esteem .
Provides opportunites and grants responsibilities to girls.
Provides incentive to continue and progress in the game.
Creates a network in which girls feel comfortable in the golf environment.

Because it is fun, girls learn to appreciate and love a game they can enjoy throughout their lives

The LPGA Girls Golf program is open to all girls ages 7 through 17 years of age.
